Originally, I did not like it that much, I found it rather very boring, until I watched it for the second time alone, without friends. This is the film which deserve 6 stars out of 5. I still remember the first time I watched Whispering Smith. That tension created by characters draws the audience in from the start. The movie with best storyline ever, best directing and really good chosen cast. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Robert Preston. Whispering Smith has difficult to explain energy that fills me every time I watch it. This is a very memorable movie in every way. Enjoy watching Whispering Smith.... Show more

Smith as a railway detective. When his Murray friend is fired from the railway line and starts to help vine-style trains, Smith must follow him. It seems to be interested in Murray's woman (and vice versa).
