Originally, I did not like it that much, I found it rather very boring, until I watched it for the second time alone, without friends. It would be hard to find a movie made this good. The movie is an extraordinary piece of the moviemaking top class. There is no character in this movie that does not fit in. Director once again delivered us great piece of art. I loved all of the actors, even the enemies of the main character. For real, it's very entertaining production. Is The Edelweiss Pirates the best film of all time? What happens in The Edelweiss Pirates
Cologne-Ehrenfeld, November 1944. They are young, wild and rebellious, like young people anywhere, anytime. But the boys from the working class Karl and his younger brother Peter are Edelweiss Pirates. They are against the Nazis and executed by the Gestapo.
