Originally, I did not like it that much, I found it rather very boring, until I watched it for the second time alone, without friends. Brilliant inspiration to many actors and producers, as well as for directors. The film gave me goosebumps. Jayne Mansfield's Car has it all, brilliant acting, nice performance and well written plot. Superb directing by Billy Bob Thornton - brilliant dialogues scenes. Jayne Mansfield's Car is one of those films where no sigle character gives a weak play. You know what? What happens in Jayne Mansfield's Car
A young man in the 1940s started a family in Alabama after his wife left him for an Englishman and moved to England. When the woman dies, she leaves the request to take her back to Alabama for the funeral, and the man has not seen her in nearly thirty years. The two families, their original family who left them, and their English family meet and try to adapt to one another with uneven effects.
