A really original film from 2021 year. Definitive sample of 5/5 movie. One word, cool!. When I watched The Bid online for the first time, I really surprised myself. The directing by Maurquis Boone is always superb. The Bid is one of those films where no sigle character gives a weak play. The Bid has difficult to explain energy that fills me every time I watch it. There really isn't too much else to say. The Bid is a living masterpiece. This movie is an art, at it's very best form.
What happens in The Bid
Two Philadelphia rappers, Maurquis Boone and Richard Harris get framed by an overzealous police officer. The duo are sent to prison and forced to fight the unjust prison system from the inside.
