Heaven Sent is not your ordinary Hollywood crappy movie, it carries really deep message. This is the film which deserve 6 stars out of 5. It is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. There is no character in this movie that does not fit in. The movie with best storyline ever, best directing and really good chosen cast. All of the actors were worked very good, but my most liked one in this movie was Ernie Hudson. You know what? Heaven Sent has changed my life. I mean my career. What happens in Heaven Sent

In the lead up to Christmas, Billy and Maire Taylor are going through an emotionally draining divorce after nine years of marriage. They have always been aware of their differences - he the artistic one, she the business minded one - which he has always thought made their relationship more exciting, but which she now feels is taking its toll on her. She does realize that those differences are what has made their business, a retail store called Poet's Walk selling Billy's designed greeting cards, work, but she now wants to sell the business in the break-up of their marriage, Sean Miller representing the company interested in buying. Things start to change when an adolescent girl calling herself Taylor invades their house, she looking remarkably like the girl that Billy has just sketched. After some missteps in trying to find out who she is, Billy and Maire learn that she is an angel, one that no one else can see, escaped from heaven, she who wants to be their daughter. Although they may not be able to overcome all their marital differences, both Billy and Maire begin to focus on Taylor and she truly being their daughter. In the process, they may not be fully aware that her mission is to make them fall in love with each other all over again so that they won't get divorced, with she having a specific vested interested in this task due to something in Billy and Maire's past. Her task is made all the more difficult with Sean in their lives, he who eventually admits to wanting to be more to Maire. As an escapee, Taylor also has to make them fall in love again before her heaven handler, Donatello, finds out where she is.... Show more
