Originally, I did not like it that much, I found it rather very boring, until I watched it for the second time alone, without friends. Definitive sample of 5/5 movie. I still remember the first time I watched The Protector. That tension created by characters draws the audience in from the start. The directing by Prachya Pinkaew is always superb. You just dive into the world made by the actors and Prachya Pinkaew. The Protector has many details and scenes that I really cannot get out of my mind since watching it for the first time.
