Share with me the name of a movie that is more recognizable that Journey to Oz... you won't find one. A movie with zero weak scenes, zero weak moments. It tells important lesson about how you should live your life to it's fullness. It is a sensational, tense movie from start to finish. I am a huge fan of Fyodor Dmitriev and this movie was his finest work last time. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Konstantin Khabenskiy. Journey to Oz has difficult to explain energy that fills me every time I watch it. What happens in Journey to Oz
The cunning and wicked Urfin Jus decides to become ruler of the Wonderful Land of Oz, take over the Emerald City with his Wooden Soldiers, and rename it to Urfinville. He is all but ready to celebrate victory, when his plans are ruined by Elly - an ordinary girl who ends up in Oz just at the right time. She must return home, but not before she helps her friends - the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion - defeat Urfin. But before they can defeat him, they must find out who he really is.
