No other film had as big impact on our country as Murderers Among Us had ever since its release. If the watcher does not like Drama type of movies, he will watch the whole movie and have great fun. The storyline is carefully and smartly written, the characters development is very good written too. Murderers Among Us has it all, brilliant acting, nice performance and well written plot. Director made a lot of good work with brilliant writing and amazing cinematography. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Hildegard Knef. Rly, this is the first film I saw that made me feel I saw something better than just a movie. This is a very memorable movie in every way. Murderers Among Us is a living masterpiece. What happens in Murderers Among Us
Susanne Wallner returns to the ruins of Berlin from a Concentration Camp after WW2 to discover that someone else lives in her apartment: Dr. Hans Mertens, the war made him depressive and he drinks a lot of alcohol. Susanne asks him to go but he doesn't want to, so they share Susanne's apartment and even discover their sympathy and then their love for each other. That encourages him a little, of course. But then he hears that Ferdinand Brückner is still alive and also lives in Berlin. Brückner was his Captain during WW2, he gave the order to kill more than 100 innocent people, many children and women among them, on Christmas 1942 in Poland.... Show more
