3rd Rock from the Sun - Season 1 is not your ordinary Hollywood flick, it carries great and deep message. A performance that has no weak spots. The storyline is carefully and smartly written, the character development is very satisfying too. I watched this TV Show 5 times and I enjoyed it the same every time. The direction is sublime. Excellent photos, tempo and editing. It is proof of that - a TV show series to be great doesn't need expensive special effects. - just superlative acting. I wasn't a fan of Comedy flicks so it's fair to say i never thought I'd love 3rd Rock from the Sun - Season 1. I'm sure that 3rd Rock from the Sun - Season 1 will continue to live with humanity. It is one of the few TV show series of the past years that deserves to be seen multiple times.... Show more

What happens in 3rd Rock from the Sun - Season 1

The high commander of an alien expedition lands on Earth, what he considers to be the least-important planet, in human form as Dr. Dick Solomon (John Lithgow).
