Stalingrad is pretty damn good piece of art, it took my breath!. That tension created by characters draws the audience in from the start. Superb directing by Fedor Bondarchuk - brilliant dialogues scenes. The acting is just incredible (especially Thomas Kretschmann, I'm sure no one expected that). Stalingrad will be forever living movie. No matter how many years passed and no matter how many times you saw it. Stalingrad is lika a mix of everything what a great film need, and the artistic style make the film very memorable. What happens in Stalingrad

In the present day, a Russian rescue team is saving lives in Japan after a tsunami. They find survivors and their leader calms a youngster down by telling the story of his five fathers. In 1942, a group of Russian soldiers holds a strategic building in Stalingrad against the German troops to protect the Volga River for the crossing of their comrades.
